Club Scene Film Production

A dedicated full technical AV solution was supplied for a film production house as work begun for a video shoot in Somerset West.

We supplied a 6m x 8m truss ground support structure with staging. While a full JBL VRX system was setup, all the emphasis was based around the lighting rig, expertly programmed and designed by our technical director Neville Leslie.

 

To create the intensity and show atmosphere we called in the big guns. That being, Robe’s new Robin Pointe lighting fixtures. These new lights have over 23 gobo’s and can adjust between spot and washlight beams. You can read more about them here.

To add to these amazing lights we unleashed our arsenal of LED lighting equipment included BriteQ spots, Versalite LED cans, 3D Lasers and added in our Futurelight scanners to create an emphatic nightclub lighting effect.

To top this off we added in a group of American DJ crowd blinders which were sure to create the frenetic strobe and colour effect across the venue and add that needed flash of power to the set.

Also supplied was our Pioneer DJ CDJ 900 and DJM600 DJ equipment.

The set construction was pre-planned using CAD software to design the technical layout within the venue. You can see more images from the production below.
