Carlsberg in South Africa

Carlsberg provided an incentives trip to South Africa for many of their restaurant and bar owners!!

Carlsberg in South Africa Event:

The trip kicked off at the Mabula Game Lodge in JHB, where clients where treated to a Safari sunset drive.

The action then moved to Cape Town, where a roof-top party was held at the fabulous Cape Royale Hotel in Greenpoint. Dinner at the seductive Headquarters restaurant along Shortmarket Street was followed by a frenetic House Party in the upmarket Camps Bay area, before ending the amazing tour off in style at the ST YVES Nightclub.

Propel Africa and Autumn Affair provided Carlsberg with the best in PR and Media assistance, while AV Direct was called in to supply the leading Audio Visual equipment South Africa has to offer!!

The DJ line-up at the Camps Bay parties included none other than Ricardo da Costa, Shaun Duvet, Chris Jack, Gareth Kenward and Daine More.

AV Direct supplied Pioneer CDJ2000s and a DJM800 mixer as well as a custom built DJ Surround panel. A JBL Pro Audio SRX System was supplied to keep the crowd bouncing and even a few of the neighbours down the road.

Futurelight Scanners and Lazers were attached to a goal post truss system to provide an effective back-drop and lighting effect for the DJ Area.

The Stage was erected and the night was green for go!!

As the sun set on a beautiful evening in Cape Town, Carlsberg beer was in abundance and all was ready for the party to get started!!

LED lighting was used to provide the green effect around the house, and Lighting Designer, Emile Theart gave a spectacular show with Martin Pro Mac 250 Entour fixtures beaming up the night sky!

Trussing was used to create a Rockefeller-type aluminum feel around the premises, with more Intel and Lazer Scanners added, including a Carlsberg custom designed Gobo which was used at both the parties!!

Sanyo XP 100 Projectors were used to project video, images and a live party-feed onto the outer wall. This AV Setup included Panasonic Vision Mixers, Sony HD Video Camera’s and Kramer switchers and scalers.

The result was a stunning effect displaying the creative  touch AV Direct brings to the party!!!

But that was not all…

LCD Screens and PS10 speakers where installed throughout the house and even in the bathrooms, as no-one could escape the vibe!!!

Many of Cape Town‘s finest and clients from around the world where extremely impressed with the setup and amazed at the effort put in by all the staff to really showcase this awesome event!!

Overall the Carlsberg in South Africa event can be seen as a huge success
